You're invited to the Pittsburgh Greater Community Food Bank Market, a welcoming space where individuals and families can access fresh, nutritious food in a dignified and supportive environment. The market offers a variety of grocery items at no cost to those in need, helping to strengthen food security across our community. All are welcome to attend and receive support.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to participate and should be able to lift up to 25 pounds for this activity. Closed-toe shoes are required. Please consider bringing water. Volunteers in The Market will be asked to confirm upon check-in that they have reviewed our Civil Rights Training Materials found here: https://pittsburghfoodbank.org/civil-rights-training-materials/. Volunteers are expected to stay for the duration of the shift.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early. It is especially important for volunteers in The Market to arrive on time to ensure that service to our neighbors is uninterrupted. When you arrive, please park in our main lot or along Grant Avenue and proceed to the main entrance. A volunteer team member will get you checked in and provide further instructions for your activity.
